Is it immoral to seek assistance when writing a paper?

When our consultants take on the coaching of a student, they ensure that the student fully integrates all the concepts and specificities of their problem.

The observation in this matter is that many students report that their supervisors seem to be uninterested in the editorial monitoring of their dissertations, leaving them completely to their own devices.

It is worth noting that writing assistance services have existed for longer than we think, starting with Molière himself who did not write some of his works, preferring to entrust the writing to Corneille, his official writer.

In many countries, particularly in the English-speaking world, it has become perfectly normal to use the services of a specialist in one's field of study to proofread, check, correct, or supplement written work. They operate on the principle that a final thesis simply allows students to hone more transferable skills (note-taking, conducting interviews, argumentation, research, compiling a bibliography); these skills are more or less already acquired and assessed through other modules of study, which has led universities to be much more tolerant of students who use writing assistance. French academics, for example, sometimes approach this type of writing assistance from an ethical or moral standpoint, unlike their counterparts across the Channel who consider it simply a matter of filling a gap in knowledge by using what they see as mere academic or school support.

Ultimately, viewpoints differ, and we are certain that this response will not be perceived the same way by everyone. That's natural. But the goal was to clarify the nature of our services while asserting our position in this area 🙂.
